Suriya-Keerthy Suresh's 'Thaana Serndha Koottam' directed by Vignesh Shivan has taken a gigantic opeing at the box office and is on it way to becoming a huge hit. Veteran cinematographer turned director Suresh Menon has acted in a key role and his performance is highly appreciated.
In 1993 Suresh Menon directed 'Puthiya Mugam' a new age thriller starring his ex-wife Revathi, Vineeth and himself which was much talked about on release. The story is about a Srilankan Tamil who escapes to India and starts a new life after undergoing plastic surgery.
It has now been revealed that Suresh Menon is going to remake 'Puthiya Mugam' co-produced by John Max's Shalom Studios and Ravikaanth's 22 Studios. The script is reportedly being altered to suit the current period and while A.R. Rahman scored the music for the original, he is also going to be approached.
