Nithya lodges death threat complaint against Thaadi Balaji again

Popular comedian and television anchor Thaadi Balaji married his second wife Nithya a few years ago and have a daughter Poshika.  The past two years the couple have been having misunderstandings and Nithya separated from Balaji and lodged police complaints that he tortured her mentally and physically abused her and her daughter releasing a video too.

Later Balaji and Nithya participated in the ‘Bigg Boss’ season 2 as contestants and the other housemates and anchor Kamal Haasan advised them to bury their differences and start life afresh. The couple have been living together again for the past few months.

Nithya, on Thursday lodged a complaint at the Madhavaram police station in Chennai alleging that Balaji is back to drinking heavily and abusing her and Poshika mentally and physically and posed murder threats.  She has also alleged that he brings his friends and rowdies to the house to drink liqour and they all spread defamatory stories about her on Whatsapp.  Nithya is the head of a woman’s organization and is involved in social activities which apparently irked Balaji as well.  The cops have registered the case against the comedian and legal proceedings have started all over again.
