Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, with the kind of experimentation he does and the sensible stories he presents and even more so, the sensitive manner in which he presents, is a class apart. His movies are enjoyed by different sections of society, across the entire South India. His experiments with Kamal Hassan like 'Pushpak', 'Vichitra Sodarulu' 'Michael Madan Kama Raju' etc were applauded as remarkable efforts and won both of them many awards apart from being commercially successful too.
The director who finished four decades of his career as director is still raring to go with his kind of cinema in the process of claiming a definite stage back in the business. Singeetham Srinivasa Rao has completed his latest film Welcome Obama, a sensible comedy casting Urmila, Rachel, Esthaban, Sanjeev, Bhuvana Chandra, Anantha Sriram, Niranjani, RJ Basha etc. Produced by Bharathi and Bharathi Krishna on Sandalwood Media, the movies music is composed by the ace director himself. The movie was shown to industry stalwarts who praised the movie as a timely efforts.
Dasari Narayana Rao said Singeetham has always been ahead of his times. He thinks differently and progressive and forward and thats what makes him a great director Paruchuri Gopala Krishna said This is a movie with sentiment but was treated with humor and other commercial ingredients
Later thanking the guests, director Singeetham said This Vinayaka Chavithi comes earlier to me with such stalwarts like Dasari and Paruchuri watching the film and talking good words about it. The audio is getting good feedback from the audiences. Producer said Our USP is Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and he is selling like never before. We sold the satellite rights to a popular TV Channel with fancy pricing. Will get it censored and announce the release date
