A school teacher in Texas, US has been sentenced to a prison term for having sexual relationships with a 15 year old student, including when she was pregnant. Katherine Harper is the teacher and she met with the teen in the Tidwell Middle School in Raanoke where she was an English teacher.

At the time of her arrest Harper was pregnant eight months, but it’s not sure if the baby is the teen’s. The teacher has been sentenced to six years of prison and 10 years probation. According to the police, the teacher and the student had exhanged nudes, provocative text message and had intercourse at the boy’s home.

Based on ananonymous tip off, school officials had begun an investigation and when the boy was confronted, he cried and admitted to it. Harper who is 28 years old has pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault of a child and one count of having an improper relationship with a child.
