Sanjay Kapoor’s production venture ‘Tevar’ starring Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee will mark the directorial debut of celebrated ad-filmmaker Amit Sharma. Also, Sonakshi Sinha makes her singing debut in the movie with a song, titled "Lets Celebrate"!
‘Tevar’ is the Bollywood remake of Telugu superhit film ‘Okkadu’ which starred Mahesh Babu, Bhoomika Chawla and Prakash Raj in lead, became instant success and bagged several awards. It was later remade in Tamil as ‘Ghilli’ with Vijay and Trisha which also became a blockbuster hit in Kollywood.
In ‘Tevar’ Arjun plays an Agra-based, Kabbadi champ while Sonakshi essays the role of a simple, girl-next-door.
'Tevar' is scheduled to release 5th December 2014.
