Tendering resignation, Rajasekhar gets emotional

Dr. Rajasekhar, the senior actor, today tendered his resignation for the post of Executive Vice-President of Movie Artistes Association, a post he has held since last March.  He has said that the President, VK Naresh, is the reason he is done with the MAA.

“Ever since he took office, there has been no transparency.  Mr. Naresh has been insulting and degrading the Executive Committee members.  Decisions have been taken without prior consultation.  He does things as per his whims,” the ‘Kalki’ actor alleges in the letter.  He adds that it was decided in a friendly manner to change the state of affairs at a meeting with elders.  “In spite of the promises made, nothing has changed,” he laments.

Rajasekhar, describing himself as a sensitive, emotional and straightforward person, writes that he had to vent his emotions at the MAA’s Diary launch event on Thursday.  

At the event, Rajasekhar fell out with Megastar Chiranjeevi openly.  He suggested that Chiru is not a hero in real life.  Chiru, getting angry, said that disciplinary action will have to be taken against Rajasekhar for his behaviour.
