Telugu producers are not looking at OTT Alternative – Suresh Babu

Suresh Babu, famous producer from Telugu Film Industry said that Telugu producers are not looking at alternative money minting opportunities as such tactics won’t be a lasting solution for the problem. 

He said in an interview that the Telugu producers are looking forward to the reopening of theaters as on an average 150 films are produced every year and each producer cannot depend on OTT platforms. 

He also said, “These are very difficult times and no one has faced them till date. We have to tread with great caution here. Every one of us Telugu producers had talks with OTT platforms and we decided to wait!” 

He hoped that a lasting solution for the problem will be found soon. He exclaimed that opening up states is a welcome sign but people need to understand that the virus is still around and caution is must.
