Tejaswi Madivada will be seen in a lead role in the upcoming Telugu-language anthology 'Commitment'. Directed by Lakshmikanth Chenna, the film is about the problems women face in various walks of life because of predatory men who seek sexual favours from them.
Speaking at the teaser launch event of the web film, Tejaswi said that Telugu girls are asked for sexual favours (the code word for it being 'commitment') in the industry. "If it is North Indian girls, they do it through managers and all. But when it comes to Telugu girls, they do without any fear," the starlet said, adding that 'Commitment' tells the story of such victims of exploitation culture.
"Don't see this movie as a dirty one. It's not about sex. It's an informative and enlightening movie. This is my life story," Tejaswi added.
Tejaswi said that she has done love-making scenes in the movie with actor Srikanth, whom she has known for five years.
