Popular Telugu film producer Pokuri Rama Rao, aged 65, died of complications due to coronavirus on July 3 evening at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He had been under observation at the hospital after testing positive for the virus.

Rama Rao reportedly underwent a surgery to take care of his heart related ailments ten months ago.
