Shocking: Famous producer dies of coronavirus

Popular Telugu film producer Pokuri Rama Rao, aged 65, died of complications due to coronavirus on July 3 evening at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He had been under observation at the hospital after testing positive for the virus.
Rama Rao reportedly underwent a surgery to take care of his heart related ailments ten months ago. He was being treated by a group of doctors at a private hospital, but his condition slowly deteriorated yesterday. His cremation took place at a crematorium in the city today. Pokuri Rama Rao is the brother of popular producer Pokuri Babu Rao of Eetharam Films. He has produced several famous Telugu films including Ranam, Ontari, Yagnam among others. A Telugu entertainment portal quoted a source as saying, "After he recently contracted coronavirus, Rama Rao was admitted to the Continental Hospital in Hyderabad. He was undergoing treatment. With the health condition deteriorating in the last few days, he breathed his last after being on ventilator support."
Rama Rao's family is yet to release an official statement on the producer's demise, while fans and celebrities have been posting their condolences on social media.
