The one Telugu film which has received accolades from all quarters in a long time, is releasing nation-wide, thanks to Fox Studious India. No prizes for guessing that the film is Ravikanth Perepu's Kshanam.

The Feb 26 release was made on a shoestring budget of Rs. 1.20 cr and has gone on to become a BO hit. Produced by Prasad V Potluri, this film was released in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and in parts of Tamil Nadu. But now, after the film was praised by some Bollywood critics and trade analysts, Fox Studios has thought it apt to release Kshanam with subtitles in the States like Maharashtra and Gujarat, among others.

'In Bengaluru, the film received a massive response. So, the folks at Fox have decided to go all out. They don`t want to spoil the native touch of the film and so, they`re going ahead with subtitles,' said a source related to the makers.

Meanwhile, there have been reports that many production houses in Bollywood are vying for remake rights of the film.
