Veteran Tollywood artist Kosuri Venu Gopal is no more. He breathed his last on Wednesday. The actor succumbed to COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
His relatives have been quoted as saying that Venu Gopal was on life support for more than three weeks. His condition kept deteriorating and he couldn't be saved.
The 1994 film 'Thegimpu' marked his acting debut. Popular films like 'Maryada Ramanna' and 'Vikramarkudu' formed the crown jewels of his filmography. 'Ami Thumi', in which he played Vennela Kishore's father, was his last film. Although his name was not known to most of the audience, he was quite a familiar face, thanks to his natural flair.
