Telugu actress booked after Sunday’s IPL match

Telugu TV actress C Prashanthi and five others have been booked for allegedly creating nuisance during the Sundays’ IPL match at the Uppal stadium in Hyderabad.  The accused allegedly made it difficult for a spectator to view the match without obstruction.

The six individuals, including the actress, were watching the IPL match from a corporate box.  They are believed to have been drunk at that time.  Even as they created nuisance, the spectator complained to the stadium staff.  Despite the efforts of the staff to discipline the noisy six, they continued with their misbehaviour, a report says.

As per an official at the stadium, the accused even threatened the spectator after he complained.  Cases have been registered under Sections 341, 188, and 506 of the IPC, and Section 70 of the City Police Act.
