The shooting of Ajith Kumar's upcoming film AK61 is progressing at a brisk phase. He collaborated with H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor for the third consecutive time in the bank heist thriller. We all know that Ajith is now enjoying a road trip in Europe as the next schedule of filming is yet to begin.

As per the latest reports, Telugu actor Ajay has joined the AK 61 cast. He has done some well-known negative roles in Tollywood and has been reportedly roped in to play a crucial role in Ajith 61. He is likely to join the team on the next schedule in Pune. The entire shooting is expected to be wrapped up after the Pune schedule and the preparations for the final schedule are on.

The Pune schedule has taken some time to roll as the lead star Ajith will be sporting a different look in the final leg of filming. AK 61 also stars Manju Warrier, Veera, John Kokken and Mahanadhi Shankar in pivotal roles. Ghibran is scoring music while Nirav Shah cranks the camera. The makers are planning to release the film in December or January.
