Television anchor Surya Vasan dies in a tragic accident

Popular Malayalam television anchor and news reader Surya Vasan succumbed to injury after her scooty in which she was travelling along with her cousin brother Ananthapadmanaban was hit by a van near Kottayam. Though Surya was rushed to the hospital immediately she did not survive.
The Kerala police have registered a case against the van driver. Surya was not married and had lost her father a few years back. Many tv personalities have offered their condolences to the departed soul.
