In a shocking incident popular television actress Nalini has lodged a complaint with the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai that she was brutally attacked and almost killed by her roommate and her mother.  According to Nalin Negi a few years back Preethi Rana had shared a room with her but wanting to stay alone took up a two bedroom house.

A few days back Preethi had approached her and said that she did not have a place to stay and asked for temporary accommodation.  Nalini had said ok but after a short time Preethi's mother Snehalatha Rana too came and stayed with them and when her own parents wanted to visit there was no place for them to stay.

When Nalini had tried to get the mother-daughter duo to vacate they not only refused but also attacked her.  Negi in her report has stated "last week, Sneha started arguing with me regarding randomly as I was leaving for gym with my friend. I asked her what the matter is but she refused to calm down and started using foul language. Next thing I know is she calls her daughter Preeti and starts complaining that I have been talking to her with disrespect. Preeti arrived and she too started yelling at me. While I was trying to explain Preeti what the matter was, her mother attacked me with a glass. I lost control and then both of them jumped on me and started hitting me brutally. They almost killed me."  The 'Naamkarann' and 'Vish' acterss also alleged that the duo are planning to ruin her career as an actress.  An FIR has been registered and investigation is going on against Peethi and Snehalatha Rana.
