Actor Sonu Sood has become a demigod like figure for a lot of people in past few months. Now people from a village in Telangana have recognized his philanthropic acts by making a temple for him. Villagers of Dubba Tanda have constructed a temple in Soni's honour with the help of Siddipet district's authorities.

The temple has a statue of Sonu Sood and it was inagurated in the presence of the sculptor and local people. Madhusudan Pal, the sculptor, is honoured to make the idol of Sood. “The actor has made a place in people’s hearts with his helpful nature. I have also created a small idol of him as a gift for him.”

An aarti was performed for Sonu while the women sang folk songs.
