Telangana rains: KCR thanks Tamil Nadu Chief Minister

It's known that Tamil Nadu has extended help to Telangana in different ways, including financially, to help the Telugu State tide over the natural calamity this month. The news is that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Tuesday thanked his Tamil Nadu counterpart E Palaniswami for extending financial help to Telangana ever since devastating rains took a toll in several ways. KCR reportedly spoke with EPS on the phone.
In another news, KT Rama Rao has announced that the Urban Development department will provide financial assistance of Rs 10,000 per family to those who have been affected by rains. As many as 3 to 4 lakh families will receive the benefit. "The monetary benefit will be given to them at their doorstep in the Greater Hyderabad region and adjoining affected areas," the Minister said.
"The government will extend further support if needed. Relief should reach every affected family/person as per the instructions of the CM," KTR said, appealing to all MLAs, Corporators, Resident Welfare Associations, NGOs and other public representatives to assist the government in ensuring the assistance reaches the needy.
Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao thanked @CMOTamilNadu Sri Palaniswami over the phone for extending financial help to the rain affected Telangana state. CM Sri KCR also thanked CM Sri Palaniswami for his generosity in extending material help besides the financial help.
