Telangana: New cases, fatalities, infrastructure details revealed

The latest Covid-19 bulletin from the Telangana government puts the cumulative confirmed cases tally at 60,717. As many as 1,811 cases were logged in the last 24 hours (as of July 29, 8 PM).
The number of recovered cases stands at 44,572 (with 821 in the past 24 hours). The number of deaths has been put at 505, with 13 dying in the 24-hour period.
Case fatality rate is 2.26%, and the cumulative recovery rate stands at 64%.
The total number of active cases now stands at 15,640. About 84% of the cases are asymptomatic and are under home isolation.
Age-wise positive case distribution suggests that those in the age-group of 31-40 have been the most affected in the State. Next in the list is the 21-30 age-group, followed by the 41-50 age-group.
The percentage of deaths due to Covid-19 is 46.13%, while that due to comorbidities is 53.87%.
Available isolation beds (11,928), oxygen beds (3,537), and ICU beds (1,616) inspire confidence, the government has been suggesting.
