Telangana has logged more than 2,000 COVID-19 cases in a day. The Telugu State reportedly registered as many as 2,055 cases on Wednesday. Besides, it saw seven deaths in the State.

GHMC logged 348 new cases. Medchal-Malkajgiri followed in terms of numbers, with it reporting 214 fresh cases. As many as 13,362 cases in the State are active. And 8,263 individuals are placed under home isolation. Total number of cases in the State now stands at 3,18,704.

As for the entire country, there were 1,26,789 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours. As many as 59,258 were discharged, with as many as 685 deaths taking place.
