In a shocking incident reported from Nalgonda, Telangana, a woman murdered her 9-year-old son after he threatened to inform his father regarding her affair with another man.

According to a report by a news agency, the 9-year-old boy found his mother in a compromising postion with a 60-year-old man when he woke up from his nap. When he panicked and informed his mother that he would reveal the affair to his father, the woman strangled him to death using a towel. When she was interrogated by the police, she initially claimed that her son died a natural death. However, her husband mentioned to the police that he suspected foul play on her part. Upon further investigation, she confessed to murdering her own son.

The accused has been arrested and remanded in judicial custody. An FIR has been registered against her under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
