Sections of electronic media on Monday morning are reporting that Telangana Home Minister Mohamood Ali has tested positive for coronavirus. He has been taking treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad since Sunday night.

Reports say that Ali had given swab samples three days ago and had been waiting for test results. The TRS leader comes with a history of Asthma. Given the co-morbidity, he should be given proper healthcare.

Indian Express has reported that Ali had been showing symptoms for four days before being admitted to the hospital. A Telugu TV channel reported that Ali's family members are going to submit their samples later in the day given that they are the patient's immediate contacts.

There was no official bulletin on the Minister's health status at the time of writing.
