It is a known fact that the Telangana High Court has taken the Pushpa 2 ticket price hike issue for hearing and the verdict is reserved for the evening.
The High Court expressed its concern over the issue. The petitioner's advocate questioned who would benefit from the benefit show. He argued that the money received through the benefit show should be put in an Escrow account.
However, the advocate Siddharth, representing the Mythri Movie Makers, requested a time of two weeks. The petitioner's advocate then argued that the film would be released by that time.
Justice Vijay Sen Reddy's bench said he would give the order in the evening. The High Court questioned how a common man watches a movie for 800 rupees and expressed its anger that if ten people had to go to a movie, they would have to pay ten thousand rupees.
"Why is the benefit show being held at 1 am in the middle of the night, which would affect the health of young children," said the court.
The High Court said it would give the final decision again in the evening. The film is scheduled for a release from tomorrow evening.
