The Telangana High Court on Tuesday permitted the conduct of the SSC examinations from June 8, as has been planned by the KCR government. It has put in place a few conditions, though.
The court said that there should be a gap of two days between one exam and the next.
The KCR government should review the situation prevailing in the State as of June 3. It should submit a report to the HC on June 4.
With thousands of students likely to need authentic information, the HC has required a helpline for their benefit.
In March, before the lockdown came into force, SSC students had written two exam papers. The remaining ones will be held in June. The administration will put out the exam schedule soon in the light of the HC's conditions.
