The recent bestowment of the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award, upon Chiranjeevi, the legendary actor, and former Union Minister, sparked an atmosphere of jubilation throughout the Tollywood and Telugu fraternity. In recognition of this achievement, the Telangana government took a commendable step to felicitate Chiranjeevi and other Padma Awardees, adding to the grandeur of this remarkable event. The felicitation will take place at Shilpakala Vedika, starting from 10 AM on 4 Feb 2024.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, in a thoughtful gesture, personally extended an invitation to Chiranjeevi and Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President of India and a prominent political figure, through Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao. Minister Rao had the privilege of meeting and honoring Chiranjeevi at Annapurna Studios and Venkaiah Naidu at his residence in Jubilee Hills.
