Telangana: 2,795 new cases in 24 hours

As many as 2,795 new coronavirus cases were registered in Telangana in the past 24 hours, as of August 26, 8 PM. This was a bit less than the number for the previous 24-hour period (3,018 cases).
The cumulative caseload in the State has climbed up to 1,14,483.
With 8 deaths in the 24-hour period, the cumulative fatality number stands at 788. The number of recovered cases stands at 86,095, with 872 recovering in the past 24 hours.
Case fatality rate is 0.68%, which is less than India's 1.84%. The cumulative recovery rate stands at 75.20%, which is more than India's cumulative recovery rate of 76.28%. The total number of active cases now stands at 27,600. About 20,866 individuals are in home/institutional isolation.
