Telangana: 2,734 new cases in 24 hours & other updates

As of August 31, 8 PM, Telangana recorded 2,734 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. The cumulative caseload in the State has climbed up to 1,27,697.
With 9 deaths in the 24-hour period, the cumulative fatality number stands at 836. The number of recovered cases stands at 95,162, with 2,325 recovering in the past 24 hours.
Case fatality rate is 0.65%, which is less than India's 1.77%. The cumulative recovery rate stands at 74.50%, which is more than India's cumulative recovery rate of 76.94%. The total number of active cases now stands at 31,699. About 24,598 individuals are in home/institutional isolation.
