Telangana: 2,384 new cases and other important details

The latest health bulletin on COVID-19 is out from Telangana. The State has logged 2,384 cases in 24 hours (as of August 22, 8PM). This brought the cumulative caseload in the State to 1,04,249.
With 11 deaths in the 24-hour period, the cumulative fatality number stands at 755. The number of recovered cases stands at 80,586, with 1,851 recovering in the past 24 hours.
Case fatality rate is 0.72%, which has improved compared to last week. The cumulative recovery rate stands at 77.30%, which is more than India's cumulative recovery rate of 74.69%.
The total number of active cases now stands at 22,908. As many as 16,379 individuals are in home or institutional isolation in the State.

Samples tested per million population: 25,099
Number of reports awaited: 1,347
Percentage of deaths due to COVID-19: 46.13%
Percentage of deaths due to Co-morbidities: 53.87%
About 20,396 beds are available in the State, with 2,410 others lying occupied. These include regular, oxygen and ICU beds.
