At a time when Teja recently exited from NTR's biopic with Balakrishna, the rumour doing the rounds is that he is keen on telling the story of late Uday Kiran, a talented actor he made a star of in the early 2000s.

As per some speculative reports, Teja is keen on telling the story of Uday's rise and fall and the ultimate tragedy of his suicide. It was with his film 'Chitram' that Uday, a middle-class youngster with no filmi background, had debuted as a hero in 2000. 'Nuvvu Nenu' and 'Manasantha Nuvve' were silver jubilee hits. With three big hits in a row, Uday became a heartthrob.

He was supposed to marry Chiranjeevi's elder daughter. He got engaged to her in 2003. But marriage never happened. As per his sister, it's because Uday was not comfortable because of a past relationship. He respectfully told about it to Chiru, whom he respected till his last breath! The Chiru-Uday story is something that is a mystery for many. Will the biopic explore it? That is going to be its USP for sure, if and when the film is made.

Also, it's said that Uday was deeply anguished by his father's behaviour.
