It was on this day in 1998 that Chiranjeevi's 'Choodalani Vundi' hit the screens. The Gunasekhar directorial marked the entry of Teja Sajja as a child artist. The 'Zombie Reddy' actor today turns 24 in the Telugu film industry.
After his debut in the Chiru-starrer, Teja went on to do popular titles such as 'Raja Kumarudu', 'Kalisundam Raa', 'Yuvaraju', 'Bachi', 'Gangotri', 'Vasantam', 'Tagore' and others. His biggest claim to mini-stardom was playing the childhood version of the legendary Chiru in 'Indra'.
As a lead actor, he is known for 'Adbhutham' and 'ISHQ', although 'Zombie Reddy' remains his most popular outing. The 'Oh Baby' is happy about his progression in the film industry thus far. A self-made artist, he is looking at a turnaround in career in the coming years.
'Hanu-Man', directed by Prasanth Varma, is his next. "I have high expectations from 'Hanu-Man'. Contrary to speculations, it has got no mythological flavour. The 'Man' in the title says it all. It belongs to a typical Hollywood genre, but the story-telling suits our nativity," the actor said in an interview about the pan-India release.
