After 'Baahubali-2', Rana Daggubati is aiming big with the Teja-directed Nene Raju-Nene Mantri`. The movie will have a multi-lingual release. The makers have announced that it is going to be a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
Produced by D Suresh Babu, the film is a political thriller where Rana is playing a politician named Jogendra. "The character is layered and presents Rana in a refreshing way," the producer says.
Updating about the progress of the entertainer after announcing the title, the producer says that the final schedule is ongoing in Hyderabad. Post-productions have been going on simultaneously.
Many years after doing the socially-conscientious 'Nijam', Teja is at it again. The typical 'chaltha hain' attitude of the average Indian is what he seeks to question and urge to be dumped through the movie.
It's not like Rana fell in love with Teja's style only after he started doing 'NRNM'. He has always admired his "hunger for brilliance". "This is a compelling and thought-provoking film," he quips.
Kajal Aggarwal is the main female lead, while Ashutosh Rana, Catherine Tresa and Navdeep will be seen in other key roles. Posani, JP, Raghu Karamanchi, Bittiri Satthi, Prabhas Sreenu, Sivaji Raja, Josh Ravi, Navin Neni and others are a part of the cast.
Music-directed by Anup Rubens, the film has cinematography by Venkat C Dilip Editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Narayana Reddy is the art director.
Co-produced by CH Bharath Chowdhary and V Kiran Reddy, the film is a joint outing of the prestigious Suresh Productions and Blue Planet Entertainments.
