Teja does it

Trust Teja to pull it off. The maverick director's forthcoming release Dhairiyam is making the news for all the right reasons.
The film's audio release was the first big function in 2005 at Tollywood. Though comparatively low-key, the audio function was impressive in its own right with Tammareddy Bharadwaja releasing the first audio.
All eyes are on the music of the film as Teja, who with RP Patnaik had given several hits, has chosen newcomer Anoop.
Now, Anoop had been with Patnaik for quite some time. It is then when firmed up a friendship with Teja.
The film has a total of seven songs. Anoop says they have the right mix with melodies and mass numbers in equal proportion.
Teja has always managed to get the best out of his music directors (remember Chitram, Nuvve Nenu, Jayam?) Hopefully, he has for Dhairiyam, too.
Teja, however, has got the best out of Nitin in the film. The young hero, who was Teja's find, says it has been a satisfying performance for him. Moon Moon Sen's daughter Raima Sen is the heroine. Though struggling with Telugu, she has also done her glamour role to perfection.
Teja, incidentally, has luck with Sen. He cast Reema Sen for Chitram and it became one of the biggest hits. Now he has gone for another Sen, let's see whether that luck holds true.
Dhairiyam is a loose remake of the Tamil film Sullan.
