Teja deceived me: Raasi

Raasi, the star actress of the 1990s, has alleged that director Teja hoodwinked her into accepting Mahesh Babu's 'Nijam' back in 2003 by misrepresenting her character.

As per Raasi, here is what happened. "Those were the days when Mahesh Babu had secured a big hit with 'Okkadu'. Teja approached me with an offer. He told me that my character would have love scenes in combination with Gopichand. The director gave a misleading picture during the narration. He never said that mine would be a negative character. I could see through the game right on the first day of the shoot. However, I didn't opt out of the project because I had already taken advance. I didn't want to risk my reputation by leaving the project midway," Raasi has told a TV channel.

'Nijam' was a disaster. It's said that Mahesh was horrified after watching the film and was angry that music director RP Patnaik had ruined the album by singing too many songs.
