The pre-release event of 'Tej I Love U' was held on Sunday. Directed by Karunakaran, the function was attended by Venkata Sivaramaraju, Raghurama Krishnam Raju, and Muthyala Ratnam as chief guests. The film will hit the screens on July 6.

Darling Swamy said, "During my college days, I would bunk classes and go to Bheemaravam to watch movies. That's why I like this place a lot. 'Tej I Love U' is our film. Our West Godavari film. The kind of 'Vetakaram' we people here have, you will find it in the movie, too. When Karunakaran makes a movie, it seems like a West Godavari-made movie. Sai Dharam Tej in the movie has played a character who is like a real love. We all know how beautiful are Karunakaran's heroines. Anupama Parameswaran is no less. Coming to the script, every scene is youthful. I thank the makers for the opportunity to write dialogues."

Gosala Rambabu said, "I got to write a nice family song in the film. Looking at Sai Dharam Tej garu, I am reminded of Chiranjeevi garu."

Director Karunakaran said, "It's Pawan Kalyan garu for me after my parents. I thank all the heroes and directors who have encouraged me over the years. I wish that the audience will encourage my 'Tammudu' Sai Dharam's film as much as they did 'Toli Prema'. Directing him felt like directing 'Annayya' Pawan Kalyan garu. You will love the heroine's intro scene in the movie. Both the hero and the heroine have done a nice job."

Raghurama Krishnam Raju said, "Born in Mogalturu, Chiranjeevi garu has become a national icon. And Sai Dharam is the nephew of three big people. When 'Toli Prema' was chosen as the title for Varun Tej's movie, people made it a big hit. I wish that the audience will make 'Tej I Love U' as big a hit as Pawan Kalyan's 'Toli Prema'. The trailer suggests that the movie has all nine 'rasas'. A college backdrop, sentiment scenes, romantic scenes, family emotions. I am sure the film will be a blockbuster. KS Rama Rao garu has made 45 movies and 30 of them are super hits. I wish him all the best."

Muthyala Ratnam hailed the 'swayam krushi' of Megastar Chiranjeevi. "Sai Dharam is like his uncle when it comes to striving hard on his own," he said.

When it was his turn, the Supreme Hero described 'Tej I Love U' as a pure love story with family emotions. "It's a lovely film, a fun ride. The audience will surely enjoy the film. I am here on this stage because of my three uncles. It feels great that the director of 'Toli Prema' has made this movie with me after 20 years."
