Rishita, a 13-year-old girl from a village in Warangal district, was bitten by a snake when she was asleep. Her parents moved her to a hospital in Warangal to ensure the best treatment.

However, when they sensed that the doctors were not giving the patient due attention, the victim's parents took her to a hospital in Hanamkonda. This is where the negligent doctors declared that the girl was already dead. They were asked to send the 'dead body' for further examination.

When the parents took the victim to the same hospital in Warangal (once again), the doctors there said that the girl was very much alive. They started performing emergency treatments on her. However, by Tuesday evening, Rishita breathed her last as she didn't respond to the late treatment.

The girl's parents have demanded action against those responsible for negligence.
