Earlier, we reported that the pride of India, A.R. Rahman is going to make a song for Tokyo Olympics 2021 which will be his next release. Indian independent music artist Ananya Birla is collaborating with him for the same.

The Olympic games were supposed to happen in 2020 but procrastinated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Olympics is scheduled to happen at Japan's capital Tokyo between 23rd July and 8th August of 2021.

Over 120 Indians were selected to participate in this edition of the Olympics. And 11 of them were from Tamilnadu. So, the Mozart of Madras has composed the song 'Hindustani Way', to encourage our Indian players. This song is made on behalf of our Indian Government.

Birla has co-written the lyrics along with Nirmika Singh and Shishir Samant. She said it is a "true honour" to pen and sing a song to cheer the Indian Olympic contingent. She added, "The grit and fortitude of the Indian Olympic team in the face of such a challenging year is inspiring. It was surreal to have had the opportunity to collaborate with my role model, AR sir on such a prestigious project, from whom I have learnt so much. We are here cheering, the Hindustani Way!".

The song's music video is directed by Danny Mamik and Sahaan Hattangadi, produced by Birla's banner Antimatter Media Pvt. Ltd. The Hindi version of the song will be called 'Hindustani Way' and the English version is titled 'The Indian Way'.

Last night, Oscar Naayagan has put out a teaser of the song. He tweeted that, "Excited to share the teaser of our song, Hindustani Way. Join us as we cheer for our champions! #HindustaniWay #Cheer4India". The full song will be dropped soon. Stay tuned for more updates on the Hindustani Way.
