It's 'Thikka' time. As the film braces up for a grand August 13 release, the teaser, released moments ago, sets the 'tikka' tone. On the face of it, the film is going to have doses of both emotions and eccentricism for sure. If the hero boozes and looks funnily scared at times, 'Nata Kireeti' Rajendra Prasad dances like a doll wearing a skirt, with his face clean shaven!

Directed by Sunil Reddy, it has Mannara Chopra in a tattoo-significant, tough girl's role. On the other hand, Larissa Bonesi plays a sensitive lover girl. This is what can be made out from the teaser. The hero seems to have enough of twists and turns in his life. He is hit by a car and comes out flying with a bottle of beer in his hand. On his part, Sai Dharam Tej once even says that he will become a terrorist if she wants.

His friend Sapthagiri is there through his highs and lows, even as his boss Harshavardhan is apparently frustrated with their behaviour. Tagubothu Ramesh narrates the teaser, belittling love and glorifying friendship through an analogy. Love is like a bubble gum which progressively loses its taste. On the other hand, 'dostana' is like sweet, he pontificates to a puzzled hero. Sathya fits in somewhere.

We have to wait till Aug 13 to know what is the relevance of two heroines and friends to the hero's life in 'Thikka'. Meanwhile, catch Thaman's music (on July 30), complete with a rendition by Kollywood star Dhanush.
