Teaser Review: Pantham

One more onscreen hero who is determined to see a corruption-free world. After all, 'For A Cause' is the tagline. An action hero he is. But he is also a thinking one, a frustrated Indian who questions the innate corruption in the voter. You expect loan waivers and freebies. You vote anybody who promises short-term benefits. And you get a corruption-ridden administration for full five years.

Gopichand, apparently playing a semi-intense role in 'Pantham', is looking much more confident than in 'Gautham Nanda'. Also starring Sampath Raj and Mukesh Rishi, the hero has a funny sidekick in Srinivas Reddy. Mehreen Pirzada too seems to have a decent enough role, although it's premature to have such expectations.

As far as the Teaser is concerned, Prasad Murella's visuals are convincing. Ramesh Reddy's dialogues should be enlightening.

Directed by K Chakravarthy, the film's screenplay is by the director and Bobby (KS Ravindra). Produced by KK Radha Mohan on Sri Sathya Sai Arts, this is Gopichand's 25th movie. Music is by Gopi Sunder. Art direction is by AS Prakash.
