Rama Raju's name has meant that Oka Manasu has always been expected to be a soothing, mature love story. And that's what the teaser suggests. Hugging seems to be a leitmotif of this clean romantic entertainer. The tighter the girl's hug, the greater her love for him, avowedly. Such moments convey heart-felt emotions for sure.
Starring Naga Shourya as the lover boy, this film has Mega Princess Niharika Konidela in the role of a traditional girl. She is mostly seen wearing saree and salwar Kameez just as Sri Divya was in Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Chettu. The camera captures the rain and pleasant moments aptly.
Sunil Kashyap's music for the title track is rendered to a mellifluous effect by the formidable Shreya Ghoshal.
Produced by Madhura Sreedhar and TV9, the film will hit the screens in June.
Verdict: Get ready for a clean, mature love story that throws up neatly-etched characters and profound dialogues. The teaser does raise expectations.
