Teaser Review: LIE

Since 'Andala Rakshasi', Hanu Raghavapudi's love for cultural references has been obvious. In his last film, the heroine's travails were compared to Goddess Sita's in a short song.
Now the teaser of 'LIE' talks about how a lie had to be resorted to in order to seal the fate of Kurukshetra. Unlike his two previous films, Hanu has set most of his third outing in the US.
Nithiin is at his most elderly look. Just wearing a thick beard doesn't necessarily make him intense, but the guy is looking definitely more mature than ever. Not for nothing have they called Arjun (the main antagonist) an intelligent dude in the action drama. He is out to give the hero a run for his money. A game of wits awaits us.
Rich visuals (cinematography is by Yuvaraj) and snazzy BGM (music is by Mani Sharma) are assured. So also some breathtaking action, thanks to Hollywood stunt man Jeffrey Troy.
Get ready for August 11th.
