As per Nani, 'Krishnarjuna Yuddham' belongs to a whole new genre. We will know it on April 12 as to how far the claim holds, but the teaser is a whiff of fresh air.
Writer-director Merlapaka Gandhi's two Nanis are potentially very entertaining. The breezy streak of the teaser invites the audience to expect a cool rom-com at least in the first half. The humour is situational and it's another highlight, we believe.
Nani's contrasting get-ups, his dialogue-delivery, the village backdrop, the banter with friends (comedians Brahmaji, Sudarshan, and Mahesh Vitta are seen), the stage drama element - the list is richly varied.
Anupama Parameswaran and Rukshar Mir are expected to have meaty roles.
Are Krishna (Nani) and Arjun (Nani) poles apart? Or are they similar deep down? Are they future rivals? Or are their lives parallel? When and how are they going to cross paths? It will be interesting to find out on the silver screen.
Music is by Hiphop Tamizha, while Karthik Ghattamaneni has done the cinematography. Their hard work shows itself in the teaser.
