Teaser Review: Jyo Achyutananda

Avasarala Srinivas and Sai Korrapati just came out with the teaser of their forthcoming film. The title itself is a wordplay. For the benefit of the uninitiated, here we decode it. The 'Jyo' in 'Jyo Achyutananda' stands for the name of Regina Cassandra's character. Achyut and Anand are brothers - played by Nara Rohith and Naga Shourya, respectively.
The template may be entirely different, but the temperament of 'Oohalu Gusagusalade' can't be missed. Make no mistakes, there are characters out to outwit each other (Not one, but two here), scheming is there (If anything, they are more in number, we suppose), the competition to win the common sweetheart is there (Rashi Khanna is now Regina, more naive, we surmise), the urbane feel is intact, and well, Naga Shourya's characteristic presence is ensured.
The brothers both pull the heroine's legs, they both woo her, they both are spurned, they both probably win her friendship. But whose love wins? After all, who between Achyut and Anand is going to have a heartburn and a lump in the throat. Are we in for mind games?
Looks like Nara Rohith plays a character with grey shades, whereas Naga Shourya's character has a sketch in mind to counter his brother's designs. "Matalatho garadi chestha, emotional ga corner chestha, asalu em jaruguthundo, ela jaruguthundo, enduku jaruguthundo ani teliselope Jyo ni na prema ku banisa chestha", is the line re-told to the elder brother by the younger one in a momentous scene.
All in all, it seems we are in for yet another treat from Avasarala.
