'Appatlo Okadundevadu', starring Nara Rohith in the lead role, is directed by Sagar Chandra. Sagar Chandra has earlier directed Rajendra Prasad-starrer 'Ayyare'.

The teaser, released recently, suggests that there is loads of scheming, conflict and idealism in store. While Nara Rohith plays a Muslim by name Nooruddin Mohammad Imtiaz Ali (seen in the dress of a cop), Sree Vishnu of 'Prema Ishq Kadhal' fame is the next most important character. Based on certain true incidents that took place in the 1990s, it seems to be a period drama with good technical output.

The film has Brahmaji, Prabhas Sreenu, Ajay, Srinivas Reddy, Rajeev Kanakala, Sathya Dev, Ravi Varma, Sathya Prakash, and others in its cast.

Music-directed by Sai Karthik, it has editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Cinematography is by Baveen Yadav. Prashanthi and Krishna Vijay are co-producing it.

Hope director Sagar Chandra delivers a message once again after 'Ayyare'.
