The much-awaited Malayalam teaser of the Kannada movie Vijayanand has been released online. The teaser gives a glimpse of the biopic on the life of transport tycoon and former MP Vijay Sankeshwar. Trunk movie fame director Rishika Sharma has helmed the project that has actor Nihal playing the titular role. The movie will trace the journey of the entrepreneur between 1950-2015 without exploring his political career. Scroll down to check out the teaser -

Gopi Sundar, who has scored music for Geetha Govindam, is roped in for the project. Cinematography is by Keerthan Poojary and editing is by Hemanth. Vasant Kulkarni handled the art direction, Rishika herself has done the costume design. The project marks the debut production venture bankrolled by VRL Productions, and it will be released in four south Indian languages -- Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages.
