At the Masss` press meet held today two songs Therikuthu Masss` and Poochandi were screened along with the trailer, which enthralled all those who were present at the event. Therikuthu mass` will surely make the audience stand up and dance in the theatres while Poochandi` has a few scary elements. The following is what the team had to say about the movie.

Yuvan Shankar Raja:

'We had fun working for this movie. I got excited while hearing the story, We worked very hard for the background scores. Songs visual was so amazing by RD Rajesekar, surely this movie will be different experience. Watch the movie and enjoy'

Producer Gnanavel Raja:

'Most of us here are St. Bedes students who even now fight daily and gossip. RD`s camera work and Yuvan`s music is amazing. Very happy about the movie, came out very well, Surely a summer treat . This movie will satisfy the audience and will be a great hit'

Karunaas:

'I started with Suriya in Nandha` and Masss` is my 101st film. So Happy'

Actor Sriman:

Said that he was in awe of Suriya`s fitness since he has been the same even after 10 years and Venkat Prabhu has given him a very funny role in the movie praising the team for being energetic and transforming their energy to the people who watch the shoot. Will be a promising movie

Praveen KL :

Shared that Masss` is his 50th movie, which has made him so happy. He thanked Venkatprabhu and Gnanave and about hero Suriya he admired him of being a very dedicated artist, who was involved from the shoot, to the editing, the dubbing and after that which quality he has never seen in any other hero. He promised that Yuvan`s music was was extraordinary and the BGM made him tremble with fear.

Premji Amaran:

Was quick to point out that Masss` was the sixth movie with his brother and that Suriya was very friendly. Though he, Venkat Prabhu, Vasuki and Yuvan were family new people on board like RD Rajasekhar and Art director Rajeevan were now very close. He jokingly assured Suriya that he will not be a part of Masss 2` and closed by saying that Yuvan has done a fabulous job.

Costumer Vasuki :

In her speech revealed that this was her second movie with Studio green. The main reason she came on board was Venkat Prabhu and because the genre was so different. Suriya was so different from what she has heard and she had fun while shooting and also candidly mentioned that whatever fights they all had with each other didn`t matter as now they have created a great movie.

Director Venkat Prabhu:

'We all have the moment like in the Exam hall, Thanks everyone. I just said Masss` as a line during the post production of Briyani and the thing what i said initially was not in the movie. For an artiste like Suriya sir, with a huge fan following I had to change a lot. Initially it started as a love story. Later it changed to Masss` a big story with lots of big elements in it. This is the film that had me work hardest and think harder than that of all my six films. Suriya sir used to ask questions in all angles. My Team is very supportive and it helped as this film has a lot of CG work involved. Suriya`s look in the film and the safety pin, ear stud were purely his ideas because he had so much involvement in the character. This is the first time I am working with RD sir, though I know him for a long time and actually we planned to launch him as a DP in a film that was to be directed by Premji but thankfully GOD SAVED him as we did only the pooja but the project did not happen. We have been discussing for a long time to work together and when Gnanavel sir wanted a fresh team for this project he came on board. RD sir`s work in Masss` will take him to the next level. I have become a Landmark director as Ajith`s 50, Yuvan`s 100, Silva Master`s 100, Praveen KL`s 50 and RD Rajasekhar`s 25th movies have been with me. Wish i could do Suriya sir`s 50th movie.

Masss` is a pakka 200% Suriya sir movie. Sivakumar gave me advice that Suriya was not to be taken lightly like Karthi sir, and I was a little scared, but in reality he is totally different. We are from the same school. There were lots of issues and a lot of arguments, but all for the good of this project as Gnanavel sir mentioned. Selva master worked like a second unit director. Madhan Karky penned the dialogues along with me and wrote the songs. Yuvan`s magic should be experienced by watching the movie. May 29th the Tamil and Telugu versions are releasing. First time i have consciously made this movie that you should watch along with kids. No Smoking scene in the movie and no Item number . A clean entertainer for kids and family. Thanks'

Suriya:

'People have wondered all the time how this combination is going to work. The Treatment of Masss` is so good and this genre has never been touched before. It is a Kid`s movie, but the whole family will love it. Every director has a strong point and they all travel with it, but Venkat Prabhu`s style keeps changing from movie to movie and that's the quality I like in him. It's not a horror, nothing scary, We have heard about this in young age. Surely an entertaining movie. Venkat Prabhu`s new idea gives it such a different color. Like VP, RD sir is the biggest strength of the movie and Praveen KL`s work is a big big plus. They said that I did not retire to my caravan like I usually do that was because I was wondering if these guys are seriously working or playing around(jokingly told). Venkat Prabhu has definitely given a new dimension in my career. Thanks to Vasuki and I want you to know that I am not a terror but a jolly guy too.'
