Jasprit Bumrah is the star pace bowler of the Indian cricket team. After an injury recovery, he returned back to the team recently to play for the nation in the Asia Cup 2023. While the team is taking on Nepal in Sri Lanka today, Bumrah misses the game because he flew back to India to be with his family during the birth of his first child.
Bumrah married model Sanjana Ganesan in Goa in March 2021. He took to Instagram this morning to share that he and his wife were blessed with a baby boy with a picture of their hands. He revealed that they had named the little bundle of joy, Angad. This news is now doing rounds on the internet. Jasprit will be back in the India squad for the next game of the Asia Cup 2023.
Sharing the happy news, the cricketer wrote, "Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it ❤️ Jasprit and Sanjana" (sic).
