School teacher gets arrested for taking pics of girls and harassing them

A school teacher in Hyderabad has been arrested for allegedly taking pictures of girls on his phone and harassing them. The accused is Ramesh, who is handling physics for class IX students. Ramesh used to click pictures of girls inside the school premises.
The incident was brought to light after the parents of two children filed a complaint against the teacher and also the school’s principal for trying to hide the issue. In addition to this, Ramesh was also touching the girls in an inappropriate way according to the parents and the students.
The parents also staged a protest in the school demanding the teacher to be arrested. Ramesh has been booked by the cops under section 354(1) for physical contact and advances involving unwelcome,sexual overtures. The police has also booked the principal for not reporting the issue to the cops.
