Neetu Chandra is not just an actress. The 'Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai' girl is a Taekwondo expert too. She has now urged to teach martial arts to girl students in schools.

This demand of Neetu comes in the wake of the brutal gang rape of a 23-year-old para medical student in a moving bus in New Delhi a couple of weeks ago.

"Such crimes should be dealt with an iron hand. Also, to prevent such incidents, the government should make martial arts mandatory for girl students," she says.

The actress adds: "Girls should be physically and mentally prepared to handle their offenders. Martial arts should be made an integral part of the curriculum."
