Taylor Swift has achieved a groundbreaking milestone, overtaking Elvis Presley to secure the highest number of weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. With her latest album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), the 32-year-old pop sensation claimed the top spot for a total of 68 weeks, surpassing Presley's 67 weeks at No. 1 across his ten albums spanning from 1956 to 2002.

Swift's chart-topping journey began with her album Fearless, reigning at No. 1 for 11 weeks between 2008 and 2009. She continued her streak with successive albums like Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights, collectively adding another 47 weeks at the summit.

Her re-recorded albums—such as Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Red (Taylor’s Version), Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), and 1989 (Taylor’s Version)—contributed 10 more No. 1 placements to Swift's impressive repertoire on the Billboard 200.

Despite surpassing Presley, Swift remains behind The Beatles, who dominated the No. 1 spot for 132 weeks across 19 albums from 1964 to 2001.

Last month, Swift achieved another feat by equalling Drake's record for the most Billboard Music Awards. During the ceremony, she bagged 10 BBMAs and expressed her gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support.

The talented artist wrapped up her hugely successful Eras Tour in 2023, amassing significant praise and record-breaking ticket sales totaling $92.8 million in the U.S. Her Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour film, showcasing the captivating journey of her performances, became a blockbuster, securing the fifth-highest opening revenue for a theatrical release that year.

Swift's triumphant reign atop the Billboard 200 and her numerous accolades continue to solidify her status as a music industry powerhouse, captivating audiences worldwide with her music and monumental achievements.
