‘Taxiwala’ Teaser: Those different vibes

Make no mistake, the Teaser of ‘Taxiwala’ presents the film as a new-age entertainer with large doses of eccentric characters.  If that makes for a solid watch, our bets are on this promising flick.

Touted to be a sci-fi, the initial shots come with freakish vibes.  Danger looms large.  And when the man himself (the hero, who else?) enters the screen, he is showcased as a cavalier guy who later chances upon a game-changing taxi.  Thus, he becomes ‘The Taxiwala’.  

Freakish comedy is taken care of not only by less important characters but also by Vijay Devarakonda (with his idiosyncrasies) and his sidekicks (one of whom is played by Madhu Nandan).

If Jakes Bejoy’s BGM is in tune with the overall feel, Sujith Sarang seems to have deployed the art of lighting to a sizzling effect.   Srikanth Rami Shetty’s art department needs to be watched out for.  

Telugu girl Priyanka Jawalkar is the heroine.  Malavika Nair, Kalyani, Madhunandan, Sijju Menon, Ravi Prakash, Ravi Varma, Uttej, Vishnu are part of the cast.  

The screenplay and dialogues are by Sai Kumar Reddy.  Sync Cinema is taking care of the Sound department.  Lyrics are by Krishnakanth.  Stunts are by Jashua.
