After the critically acclaimed hit film 'Kuttram 23', actor Arun Vijay will be teaming up with his 'Thadaiyara Thakka' director Magizh Thirumeni for 'Thadam'. This film is being produced by Inder Kumar who produced 'Kuttram 23'.

The film's shooting has began and now the makers have officially announced the heroines. The film will have not one or two but three heroines played by Tanya Hope, Smruthi Venkat and Vidya Pradeep.

Out of the three lead ladies Vidya Pradeep is a known face to Tamil audience as she has acted in films such as 'Saivam', 'Pasanga 2' and 'Achamindri'. Tanya Hope, who won the Femina Miss India contest in Kolkata in the year 2015 has acted in a few Telugu films and this will be her Kollywood debut. Smruthi Venkat is a newcomer.

Sources suggest that Arun Vijay plays dual roles in the film and two of the heroines will play love interest to his two characters while the third one will not be a regular heroine but she will play a pivotal role in the story. .

FEFSI Vijayan and Meera Krishnan are part of the supporting cast. The first schedule of shoot has been recently completed. The second schedule will begin in Chennai from August 4th. This will be a 30 day long schedule which will involve the canning of scenes of all the three heroines along with Arun Vijay. The makers are planning to release 'Thadam' in the last quarter of the year.
